As many of you know I live in the Carolinas and always have. I’ve gotten used to running into random Preppers from time to time and making new friends. One of the most common ways this has happened is through Facebook. One such friend I’ve made is a Army Veteran named Robert Bratyanski. Come to find out, not only is he an author of the “Mouths to Feed” series of books, but also the M.A.R.S. Mount.
Robert kept posting about this molle device he had come up with and I had to see it. A quick message later and I was meeting him locally in my hometown of Charlotte, NC. We get to talking and he opens the rear hatch of his SUV to show off what he had invented.
Using a proprietary method of forming Kydex, Robert hand forms the material into a series of channels. He then uses screws to affix the Mount to the interior panels of a vehicle using screws. The mounts allow you to place various PALS compatible pouches in any customizable configuration you could imagine. Think of all the possibilities you could use them for. Maybe you are a LEO opening the trunk of your patrol vehicle and you have all of your gear neatly organized all over the interior. Ammunition pouches, IFAK, holsters, cuffs, and anything else you could imagine neatly organized.
Maybe you are a civilian and you need your emergency tools tucked up out of the way. Put a M.A.R.S. Mount behind your seat and place a pouch with emergency tools, jumper cables, road flares, or a first aid pouch.
For the Preparedness minded individual, M.A.R.S. Mounts provide a whole host of mounting solutions both around the home and in the vehicle. Put them in your gun cabinet to organize weapon mags, holsters, and precious metal containers. In the vehicle, place emergency supplies and Bug Out Gear for quick access.
Mounts are available in Black, Beige, and Green colors with sizes from 1 channel for flashlight and pepper spray holsters to a full 6 channel that can mount anything you want. Pricing starts at $2.99 and goes up from there. Each order is hand made and fitted for the individual and ships worldwide.
Robert now has a velcro option. You can follow his page HERE on Facebook to stay up to date on the latest options and uses as well as how to purchase the mounts.
Altogether, I’ve been thoroughly amazed by how well the M.A.R.S. Mount allows me to mount and customize my loadout for my vehicle. Better organization, quick release pouches, and helping support a local business. I highly recommend them for everyone to use to organize all of their gear.
What are some uses you can think of for the M.A.R.S. Mounts?
